The unions involved in this long-standing dispute at Waterford Docks have now accepted settlement proposals put forward by a conciliation officer of the Labour Court.
The issue of the employment or compensation of five workers has yet to be finalised. The settlement proposals provide that this issue be processed through the official industrial relations machinery.
