There was no undue delay in this case. An incomplete application was received on 13 February 1987, and the outstanding information was not received until 23 March 1987. As an inspection was not carried out on or before 27 March 1987 a grant cannot be allowed.

There is no record of the receipt of a house improvement grant application in respect of the house in question from the persons named at the address given. There is, however, an application from one of the named persons but from a different address. In that case a grant cannot be allowed as an inspection was not carried out on or before 27 March 1987.

A revised approval issued in this case includes the provision of a kitchen extension and excludes a sewerage grant already approved as this work is being grant-aided in conjunction with the provision of a bathroom under the disabled person's grant scheme.
