Vol. 372 No. 13

Written Answers. - Laurel Hill (Limerick) School.

306.

asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the F.C.J. sisters, Laurel Hill, County Limerick have submitted drawings to her Department in relation to a proposal to convert one of their dormitary blocks to secondary school accommodation, that these drawings which have now reached stage 5 were submitted in January 1987; and if she will expedite the process whereby this conversion receives approval to go to tender in view of the delay involved.

The bills of quantities for this project have been completed and are satisfactory. The next stage is the invitation of tenders. To determine when the project may proceed further, through the issue from my Department of authorisation to seek tenders, this case must be reviewed in the context of the capital resources available.
