The death gratuity in this case exceeds the limit within which sums can be released from public funds without probate or grant of administration. Payment will be made as soon as the necessary documentation is submitted.
With regard to the widow's pension an advance payment (approximately the net amount due in respect of first month of widowhood) has already been made. The balance due will be paid at the end of June and payments will be made on a monthly basis thereafter.
