asked the Minister for Education if she has satisfied herself that all major companies providing goods and services to schools and colleges which are funded through her Department are paying VAT as required by the Revenue Commissioners; and where such is not the case if she will publish a list of defaulting companies for the advice of school and college management bodies before the start of the next school/college year.

It is a matter for the Revenue Commissioners in the first instance to ensure that companies who are liable for VAT remit the appropriate amount of VAT due.
It would not be feasible or appropriate for my Department to issue a list of defaulting companies to schools and colleges.
