A sketch scheme has been prepared for the proposed extension to Timahoe national school, County Laois. It will not, however, be possible to advance this project further at present because of the pressure on my Department's capital provision. My Department's primary buildings branch will be in touch with the school authorities as soon as it is possible to resume processing the project.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the provision of additional accommodation at Errill national school, Errill, Portlaoise, County Laois; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department recently sanctioned a grant towards the cost of a prefabricated classroom at Errill national school, County Laois.
With regard to the proposed permanent extension, my Department's legal advisers and the school authorities' solicitor are in correspondence regarding title to the necessary site extension. On the satisfactory conclusion of this phase of planning, the way will be clear for the preparation of the working drawings.
