The following is the information requested: number of aircraft movements at the State airports for the period 1 October, 1986 to 30 September 1987: Cork Airport, 22,552; Shannon Airport, 49,001; Dublin Airport, 99,732. Weston aerodrome is used for general aviation purposes i.e. pleasure flights, training, etc. I understand that in the year ended 31 August 1987, there were 57,795 aircraft movements at the aerodrome, almost 56,000 of which were training flights.
Note: An aircraft movement involves the arrival (landing) or departure (takeoff) of an aircraft.
