I propose for the information of the Deputy to publish a statement in the Official Report showing the number of persons covered by medical cards in each health board area.
The vaccine is recommended for certain at-risk groups throughout the population and is not specifically confined to those at-risk groups from within the medical card category. The general recommendations are such, therefore, that the proportion of medical card holders in respect of whom influenza vaccine is recommended is not distinguished from the overall at-risk population.
