The forest service of my Department complies with all regulations governing the issue of public service contracts.
Responsibility for ensuring compliance by contractors with legislation in respect of pay-related social insurance rests with the Department of Social Welfare and the Revenue Commissioners. The Department of Labour has responsibility for ensuring compliance with labour protective legislation and safety at work.
