Contract documents for site investigation work to be carried out in advance of the proposed interim flood relief works in Skibbereen were submitted by Cork County Council in October 1987 and are under examination in my Department. I hope to be in a position to make a decision on these documents shortly. Further consideration of the proposed interim flood relief works must await the outcome of these site investigations.
