asked the Minister for Education arising from a reply given to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 18, 21 and 181 of 3 November 1987 in which she undertook to hold a national conference in early December of organisations interested in the development of youth policy; and if she will now outline the details of that proposed conference, the date, venue and the list of those invited.

The National Conference on the future of The National Youth Service opened in Carysfort College, Blackrock, County Dublin on 14 December and will continue until 16 December. Following is a copy of the programme and a provisional list of the participants.
