Based on the number of recognised pupils, the quota for this school for the 1988-89 school-year will be 24 together with the principal and remedial teacher ex-quota — 26 in all. In the current school-year, my Department is paying the salaries of 29 teachers.
At present, three teachers from the staff of the school are on a career break and a fourth is on special leave for three years. Until their future intentions are made known it is not possible to say what exactly the position will be as regards supernumerary posts in the coming school year.
