The proposed sale of semi-mature timber in 1988 will be an outright sale, without special conditions. In order to test the market in 1987 crops were offered of varying characteristics covering species, location, elevation, productivity and age. Crops were also offered with and without the direct sale of the land. The experience has shown that offers which include the direct sale of the land are of much more interest to prospective investors.
