Limerick West): Five officers of the Permanent Defence Force are currently entitled under the relevant Defence Force Regulations to an allowance as second class interpreters in the French language.
No officer is at present entitled under the regulations to an allowance as an interpreter in the other foreign languages referred to by the Deputy.
