An amount of £1.9 million from the proceeds of the national lottery, has been allocated to my Department for the establishment of Local Sports Centres in a number of locations throughout the country.
Whereas the exact location of all of these centres has not yet been decided, every consideration will be given to the designation of the proposed centre at Naas, which is referred to in the Deputy's question, as one of the Local Sports Centres concerned.
