The information requested is not readily available from the Department's records. In any event it would not be in accord with standard practice to give such information in relation to individual vocational education committees. The total authorised teaching staff allocation for full time day courses in second level vocational schools in 1987-88 was 5,374.5 whole time teacher equivalents of which 4,911.1 were utilised as whole time teachers and 463.4 as part time teachers. The teaching staff allocations for 1988-89 have not been finalised.
