Vol. 383 No. 4

Written Answers. - Jobstown (Dublin) Community College.

149.

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the serious accommodation problems being experienced by the staff and students of Jobstown community college, Dublin 24, she will, as a matter of urgency, ensure that the recommendations of the Inspector who recently visited the school are fully implemented; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the accommodation situation in question and have authorised that the recommended adaptations be made at Brookfield community school which will improve the school organisation for the Jobstown pupils. As the Deputy will be aware from the recent meeting I had with all the local Deputies of the area I am keeping the matter under review in my Department.
