I have received a report on the outcome of the meeting held between officers of my Department and officials of the Southern Health Board to discuss the organisation of joint replacement operations in the Southern Health Board area. As the Deputy will appreciate the amount of the board's allocation to be expended on joint replacement operations is the responsibility of the Southern Health Board. However, there are aspects of the allocations process which I am having pursued with the board.
