The completion of the Millmont complex has been included on a list of tourism projects to which allocations are being made from the special Border areas programme. This programme is partly financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The allocation for the project from this Fund is £200,000. This allocation is being matched by funds from the authority's own resources, and the ERDF contribution will be paid to the authority.
