As I have indicated in replies to previous parliamentary questions, the geographical breakdown of lottery ticket sales relates to the detailed operations of the national lottery which are the responsibility of the licensee, An Post National Lottery Company. I have no function in the matter.
Within the broad allocations decided by Government, the selection of individual projects for assistance from lottery funds is a matter for the spending Ministers concerned. Detailed questions about the expenditure of lottery funds, including geographic distribution, should therefore be addressed to the Ministers involved. This information is not available in my Department.
