asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether on 18 January, 1989 the Chairman of Siúicre Éireann cpt gave him a copy of a document recommending closure of the Thurles Sugar Factory, which was to be discussed by the board of Siúicre Éireann cpt on the following day.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 61 and 78 together.
It is not normal practice to disclose the precise details of discussions such as those to which the Deputies refer.
