Appointment of Committee of Selection and of Committee on Procedure and Privileges.

I move:

a1. That, notwithstanding Standing Order 76 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Committee of Selection appointed under the Standing Order do consist of thirteen members, of whom five shall constitute a quorum, and that the following Members be appointed to serve on the said Committee:

Deputies Andrew Boylan, Vincent Brady (Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach), Ben Briscoe, John Browne (Wexford), Peadar Clohessy, Michael Joe Cosgrave, Brian Cowen, John V. Farrelly, Jim Higgins, Brendan Howlin, Liam Hyland, Liam Lawlor and Pat McCartan”.

b1. That in pursuance of Standing Order No. 77 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Committee on Procedure and Privileges be appointed."
