The approved grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if and when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will be paid a new house grant having regard to the fact that the work on the house in question commenced in 1985; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A new house grant cannot be allowed as, contrary to a condition of the scheme, a registered contractor was not involved in the construction of the house.
