The total funding available in 1989 from the proceeds of the national lottery for services administered by my Department is £27.483 million. This has been allocated under the following broad categories.

All liabilities which matured during the financial year ending 31 December 1988 were met before the end of the year. As is normal in the case of projects or services which continue from one year to another, payments have been made in 1989 in respect of projects sanctioned in previous years.
The amount of time required to provide full details of all projects funded through the lottery would be inordinate. I would be glad, however, to provide details of any projects in which the Deputy has a particular interest.
