I accept that conditions at Clonbur National School, County Galway are unsatisfactory. The question of the improvement and updating of the school building is being considered in the context of the available capital. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date. I am not in a position, at this stage, to say when building works might commence.
