asked the Minister for Education when school transport will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 17 who has speech and language difficulties and has obtained a place in a special class at St. Patrick's national school, Drumcondra, Dublin 9; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Bus Éireann have been requested to arrange transport for the pupil in question.

192.

asked the Minister for Education if she will provide additional transport for three children (details supplied) who are attending St. Joseph's School for the Mentally Handicapped, Parnell Street, Waterford, in view of the fact that one of the children is unable to attend school due to lack of transport and the funds to provide same and another child's parents have to make four eight-mile journeys a day; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

One of the pupils referred to is availing of the school transport service which was sanctioned last September.

Arrangements are at present being made to provide the increased transport capacity which my Department have more recently sanctioned for the other two pupils.
