The design of a drainage scheme for the Arrow-Owenmore river catchment in County Sligo is currently at an advanced stage of preparation. However, pending the outcome of economic and environmental appraisals of the scheme proposals, in connection with which a number of studies are in hands, it is not possible to say when a scheme for the catchment might be ready.
