asked the Minister for Education if she will provide an extension to Mahoonagh national school, County Limerick, to replace the existing pre-fabricated buildings which are in poor repair.

The question of the provision of a suitable permanent extension to Mahoonagh national school, County Limerick will be considered when a report has been received from the Department's architect on conditions at the school and when the necessary enrolments projection has been completed.

95.

(Limerick-East) asked the Minister for Education the plans she has to build a new school to replace St. Gabriel's School, St. Joseph's Street, Limerick; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I recently visited St. Gabriel's special national school and had discussions with all of the interested parties involved in the project.

A working party drawn from my Department and the Department of Health as well as representatives of the school is now being established to advise on the proposed project.
