The authorised staffing for the school referred to by the Deputy for the 1989-90 school year warranted by the enrolment on 30 September 1988 is principal only.
The first assistant post in the school was suppressed on 31 August 1989.
The first assistant teacher opted to have her name on the diocesan panel for redeployment in March 1989. Under the rules for national schools a teacher whose name is on an approved panel and who is offered an alternative position by the board of management of another school must accept that post within seven days of the offer being made.
