134 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment whether he accepts that there is an urgent need to extend the Clonakilty sewerage scheme, County Cork, to cover the Gullane area; and whether he will approve and sanction such a scheme.
Contract documents for an extension of the Clonakilty sewerage scheme to serve the Gullane area have been submitted by Cork County Council and are under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the capital available and the competing demands for high priority schemes, it is not possible to anticipate when a decision may issue to the council.
