36 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the representations, if any, which the Government Information Service made to RTE arising from the interview with him on the "Morning Ireland" programme on Friday, 23 September 1989.
I presume the Deputy is referring to my interview on the RTE "Morning Ireland" programme on Friday 22 September 1989. Following the interview, concern was expressed to RTE by the Government Press Secretary regarding the nature of some of the questions addressed to me during the interview. An apology was subsequently received from RTE in relation to those questions.
