Vol. 395 No. 3

Written Answers. - Health Board Funding.

Brendan Howlin

Ceist:

172 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health if he is considering the provision of additional funding for the North Eastern Health Board to facilitate staffing for the mammography machine at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, County Meath in 1991.

In 1990 an allocation of £61.050 million was made to the North Eastern Health Board. The Deputy will appreciate that decisions on the detailed distribution of the allocation by programme are a matter for the board.

I am not in a position at this time to say what the 1991 allocation will be to any health agency.
