I propose to take Questions Nos. 41 and 55 together.
In accordance with the overall function of the Minister for Finance to conserve threatened species of flora and fauna it is necessary to list areas which contain these species and which are known as areas of scientific interest.
The Wildlife Act empowers the Minister to create reserves in areas of scientific interest.
