Ceist:195 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education, having regard to her reply to Parliamentary Question No. 26 of 31 January 1990, whether State funding was made available for the initial purchase of Lyons Estate, Celbridge, County Kildare, by UCD; if such funds were repaid to the Exchequer; if a proportionate amount of any such funding is likely to be repaid to the Exchequer following the proposed sale of a portion of the estate; if any discussions have taken place between her Department and the college authorities with regard to the proposed sale of a portion of the property; if the sale of land in question is likely to bring about any improvement in facilities at the agricultural faculty in UCD; if she will outline any such improvements; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
