198 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the provision of an extension to Belcarra national school, Castlebar, County Mayo; when this project will be released to tender; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I have approved a permanent extension to Belcarra national school, County Mayo and sketch plans for the project have been completed. These were sent to the chairman of the board of management of the school recently to enable him to apply for planning permission. When planning permission has been received the preparation of tender documents will be put in hands.
