Ceist:127 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange to have a milk quota granted to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary under the milk quota restructuring scheme for 1989-1990.

Quotas obtained under a co-operative's restructuring scheme must be purchased at the commencement of the quota year. While it is too late to buy quota under the 1989-90 restructuring year the person indicated should contact his co-operative if he wishes to participate in the 1990-91 restructuring scheme.
Furthermore, the person concerned may be eligible for an allocation from the 11 million gallons quota, the distribution details of which I have just announced. He should also contact his co-operative regarding any entitlement in this matter.
