116 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in issuing a Land Registry folio and map to a person (details supplied) in County Laois, which application was made on 4 October 1989; and when same will issue.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a copy folio with filed plan (map) attached which was lodged in the Land Registry on 26 October 1989. The existing Land Registry map required reconstruction prior to a copy being made for issue to the applicant. This together with the current backlog of work in the registry was responsible for the delay in this case.
I understand that copy folio with filed plan attached is now ready for collection.
