Ceist:56 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment if he has instructed local authorities regarding a change in the regulations applying to (a) disabled persons' house improvement grants and (b) essential repair grants.
Written Answers. - Local Authority Schemes Regulations.
The schemes of grants to disabled persons and for essential repairs are administered entirely by local authorities. No change in the schemes has been made by the Department in recent times and accordingly, no revised instructions have issued to local authorities.
