Ceist:78 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in awarding a VAT refund to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; when payment will be made; and the amount of money involved.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the claim in question, which was received on 11 January, 1990 has been approved for payment. A cheque for £6,555.81 in settlement will issue shortly.
