Ceist:79 Mr. J. Fahey asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in having a tax refund made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.
Written Answers. - Tax Refund.
The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the taxpayer submitted a claim for repayment of tax due to unemployment on 17 January 1990. The claim was dealt with and a balancing statement issued on 5 February 1990. A cheque in settlement for £87.75 will issue to the taxpayer within the next week.
