Austin Deasy
Ceist:103 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the date an application was received in respect of a land reclamation grant for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; the date an inspection was carried out; the approximate date of payment; and the reason for the delay in payment.
An application for the work in this case — which was the last stage of a reclamation scheme — was received on 1 November 1989 and a final inspection carried out on 16 December 1989. The backlog which had given rise to the delay in payment has now been reduced and the grant will be paid shortly.
