135 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in having necessary repairs carried out to a Garda premises (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the work is urgently needed and the matter reported on many occasions.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that they have no record of any recent request for repairs to the Garda station in question. A number of minor maintenance needs at the married quarters were reported last year at local level and were dealt with immediately. I understand that some further minor maintenance works on the married quarters were requested recently and are now being considered.
