Ceist:134 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Justice the number of prisoners extradited from the Irish Republic in 1989; and if he will give a breakdown, country by country, of the places to which they have been extradited.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that six persons were extradited from Ireland in 1989, five to Britain and one to Northern Ireland.
