30 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Energy the number of vacancies at principal officer level and higher in his Department, grade by grade; the number expected in the next 12 months; the steps he is taking to fill them; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
There are no fillable vacancies at principal officer level and higher in my Department at the moment. However, consideraton is being given to the question of filling the post of director in the Geological Survey of Ireland and my Department are having discussions with the Department of Finance on the matter.
