Vol. 397 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael P. Kitt

Ceist:

108 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when an advance ewe premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

As this applicant was paid his 1988 ewe premium scheme grants manually there is no computer record on which payment of his advance of 1989 ewe premium can be based. My Department is making special arrangements, however, in this case and others like it to pay the advance of ewe premium and it is hoped payment to the person named can be made shortly.

Ceist:

109 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan.

Payments to this applicant under the 1989 special beef premium and calf premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

His application for payment under the 1989 beef cow and equines headage scheme will be processed further when he forwards proof of acreage which has been requested.

Ceist:

110 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a sheep headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted but his spouse is. The registered herdowner was an applicant under the 1989 sheep headage scheme but did not present any sheep at inspection. Accordingly no grant was payable.

Ceist:

112 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan.

This applicant has already received a 70 per cent advance payment under the 1989 beef cow and equines headage scheme. His application for payment of the balance due under that scheme will be processed further when he forwards the proof of acreage which has been requested.

Payments under the 1989 calf and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.
