Ceist:334 Mr. J. Bruton and Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the erection of a perimeter fence at St. Fergal's national school in Finglas, Dublin 11 in pursuance of a sanction already issued.

My Department has approved grant-aid for the provision of a perimeter fence at St. Fergal's national school, Finglas, Dublin 11 and the local architect will immediately be instructed to give the necessary technical advice to the school authorities to enable them to have the works carried out. I am unable to say precisely when operations will commence on site but my Department will ensure that the remaining formalities are completed urgently.
