Ceist:201 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Education when tenders will be invited for an extension to a national school (details supplied) in County Offaly.

The local authority planning permission which was recently received for the extension to the school referred to by the Deputy contained conditions which have necessitated revisions in the plans. My Department has now prepared revised proposals for consideration by the local authority. When final planning permission has been received the preparation of tender documents will be put in hands and these will be completed at the earliest possible date.
