Ceist:208 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if she has made any provision to provide training and educational assistance to east European countries similar to the Know How Fund initiated by the United Kingdom authorities.
Written Answers. - Assistance to Eastern European Countries.
The contribution by Ireland to the provision of training and educational assistance to Eastern European countries will be made in the context of Tempus (Trans-European Mobility Scheme for University Studies) and the European Training Foundation of the European Community. Both of these proposals are on the agenda of the General Affairs Council scheduled for 7-8 May 1990 under the Irish Presidency.
