Ceist:51 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health when he will allow tenders for Phase 2 of the General Hospital, Castlebar, County Mayo.
Written Answers. - Castlebar General Hospital Development.
The first phase of the development at Castlebar General Hospital has been completed and commissioned at a cost of over £11 million.
My Department is currently preparing a five year capital programme and the question of proceeding with Phase 2 of the Castlebar development is being considered in this context. Pending the completion of this programme I cannot say exactly when it will be possible to revise the planning documentation and allow the tenders to be invited for the Phase 2 development.
