Vol. 398 No. 5

Written Answers. - Cancer Incidence.

Bernard Allen

Ceist:

69 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he has any plans to carry out a study into the reason Ireland is said to have the second highest mortality rate from breast cancer in the world; and whether his Department has investigated the factors that are responsible for causing breast cancer and colorectal cancer.

Information on the relevant research is being compiled in my Department and will be sent to the Deputy direct as soon as possible.
